Muriel Helen Liddell Rhodes was born July 21, 1938, in Chicago, Illinois, to David William Liddell and Alice Gertrude Pont Liddell. Her family moved to Ogden, Utah, in 1942, and she stayed there most of her life. She passed peacefully January 8, 2018.

She was outgoing, generous with her time and always willing to help. She loved to dance, sing and play the piano. She was a cosmetologist and helped many people with those skills throughout her life. She gave many people rides to places and appointments. She was very active in the church.

She loved history and her chosen career as a librarian researcher for the Federal Government.

She is survived by her children: Sean (Amy) and Melanie (James); two granddaughters, Hope and Krista; and two sisters and a brother, Julia, Dawn, and Steven. She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother and sister.

A viewing will be held from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. on Monday, January 15, 2018, at Myers Ogden Mortuary, 845 Washington Blvd. followed by graveside services at 2 p.m. at Evergreen Memorial Park, 100 Monroe Blvd., in Ogden.
